Sunset Engagement Photos at Coronado Beach for the Sweetest Couple
This San Diego engagement session had all the ingredients for a dreamy shoot—barefoot on the sand, golden sunset light, and a couple glowing with newly engaged joy. I met this bride-to-be at my gym, and when she reached out to book her engagement photos, I was thrilled. Getting to photograph couples in love during such an exciting season of life is something I never take for granted.
From their very first hug to the final frame, these two were easygoing, affectionate, and just fun to be around. There was laughter, a few sandy feet, and a whole lot of genuine connection.
A Funny Little Surprise About the Dog
Now, here's something relatable for all the dog parents out there: we brought their pup along for a few sweet shots—and then found out that technically, dogs aren’t allowed on this part of Coronado Beach. Oops. We made it work with quick timing and lots of love, and yes, we did get the iconic paw-on-hand photo before wrapping up the dog portion of the shoot.
It was worth it for the memory (and the photos). The rest of the session went off without a hitch and gave us the most stunning sunset to close the evening.
